Happy DIY Thursday, friends!
Today, I’m showing you an easy DIY lavender + coffee scrub that I use weekly and love! It’s made with coffee, coconut oil, sugar, and lavender essential oil which are all fabulous for natural exfoliation, hydration, and skin support. The caffeine in coffee is great for skin firming (and apparently reducing the appearance of cellulite, too!), the sugar is a natural exfoliator, and the coconut oil is full of antioxidants and super hydrating for your skin! I added lavender essential too, because it’s great for added skin support (and smells amaaaazing), but if you don’t have any, just leave it out!
DIY Lavender + Coffee Scrub:
- 1 cup ground coffee
- 1 cup sugar
- 3/4 cup fractionated coconut oil (if you don’t have fractionated coconut oil, just make sure your coconut oil is in liquid form before adding it!)
- 10 drops lavender essential oil
(recipe adapted from thecoconutmama.com)
+ add all ingredients to a bowl and mix together
+ store in a container to keep in your shower (I found my cute little glass container from the Christmas Tree Shop – mason jars are also a great option!)
+ use scrub weekly in the shower to exfoliate skin
